For those of you who were die-hard Kirby fans, you've probably played Kirby Super Star Ultra. And you've probably played The True Arena, the final stage of the game. And if you've played that, you've probably fought Marx Soul.
So what exactly makes this rather eerie?
Marx Soul is the final boss of the post-game, and Marx himself was a previous boss. So then, what created the 'soul'?
If you've played the game, you probably know. At the end of Milky Way Wishes when you defeat Marx, Kirby sends him flying into the giant star, Nova, which then explodes. Marx was caught in that explosion; and therefore likely died in it.
Then comes The True Arena, a stage that wasn't in the previous Kirby Super Star. And just before you go to fight Marx Soul, you see a flashback of Marx exploding with Nova.
Then, it shows Marx's dead body in normal form, floating in the space along with Nova's parts. A void then sucks Nova's parts into Marx, which then comes back to life, evolving into a more powerful form then ever; Marx Soul, which then flies off most likely to strike revenge into Kirby.
Marx Soul was not shown in any other game except for The True Arena.
Ever imagined what it would be like to be killed twice by the same enemy?
